Production Operative

Job Description:

Position Title: Production Operative - Paint (Nightshift)

Reporting To: Production Manager

Location: Ballymoney

Hours of work: 39 Hours

Reporting to production line supervisors we require experienced personnel who are capable of working in a team based environment, manufacturing mobile screening equipment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load and unload production line

• Spray painting

• Shot Blasting

• Meet set targets whilst working on the production line

• Safe and controlled movement of production parts

• Understanding of Lean Principles & methodology.

• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative

• Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures

• Following Standard Work procedures.

• Any other reasonable duty as instructed.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential

• Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment.

• Experience of Steel Shot-Blasting.

• Powder-coating experience.

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities.

Desirable

• Experience in use of 2-Pack paint.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time

• Ability to work with minimal guidance

• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly

• Excellent problem solving skills, judgment and decision making skill

• Strong attention to detail
