Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
  • Help with the organisation of stock, including storage of ingredients and supplies
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with washing up, cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
  • Support the team during busy periods by providing efficient assistance wherever needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is desirable; willingness to learn is key
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen organisation preferred
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
