About the position:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data services, with hands-on experience in infrastructure, data integration, and automation to support high-performance applications and data workflows.

What you'll work on:

• Design, implement, and manage solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure core services.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse which is the backbone of our ingestion process.
• Develop and optimize data workflows and queries in Snowflake and SQL.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using at least two scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Support data visualization and reporting by integrating with Power BI.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines while following DevOps best practices.
• Ensure cloud platform security, networking, and identity management are in line with best practices.
• Perform Windows and Linux system administration tasks to support hybrid cloud environments.

Essential Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and its core services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse for ETL purposes.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake and SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting in at least two of the following: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security in a cloud context.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience or strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, SharePoint).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as:
