York YO HY, United Kingdom Tiddlywinks Private Day Nurseries Full time

Who are we? Since opening our doors in March 2004, we have continually worked to build Tiddlywinks into the thriving Outstanding company it is today. We have two Nursery sites in York and Easingwold as well as a brand new 90-place setting in Boroughbridge. All of our nurseries have a strong ethos based on quality, compassion and enthusiasm. We have a strong forest school ethos alongside other pedagogies, and our staff are passionate and empathic. Having been providing outstanding childcare for over 20 years we have looked after hundreds of local families and their children.

Here is how we do it: We focus on developing the uniqueness and individuality of every child: We do not employ a one-size-fits-all approach, we follow the child's interest and adapt the curriculum around them. Our amazing staff have experience and longevity alongside newer staff and apprentices' who are just starting their careers. This mix allows for breadth of knowledge and brings a wealth of experiences. Our team and children's keyworkers have exceptional communication with our families and they build strong bonds with them: This ensures our parents have the peace of knowing their child is with a team and key worker who know and love them. We focus on both indoor and outdoor adventures, allowing the children the freedom of choosing where they wish to be, we strongly encourage outdoor play and follow the forest school ethos as well as other pedagogies.
