Parkside care home offers comfortable nursing and residential care for anyone over 18. Short stay options are also available if you're in need of recovery or some respite. The home is also able to offer palliative and Parkinson's care.

The purpose-built home is spacious, bright and airy, with pleasant and well-tended gardens. Being on a leafy street, surrounded by private homes, means the home enjoys a real neighbourhood feel, too.

At Parkside they put a real focus on making the care person-centred, upholding the resident's dignity, respect and independence. The activity coordinators help make sure there's plenty of fun things for everyone to do.

All bedrooms have ensuite facilities with a 24-hour call system, many with views of the surrounding gardens.

Parkside prides itself on the balanced and nutritious dishes that are served to residents at mealtimes. The meals, which are freshly prepared every day, are suited to each resident's individual food preferences and choices.

Helping residents to recover or retain their independence is especially important here. As part of this, residents are encouraged to make friends and to choose interesting things to do – perhaps even learning something a new skill. Weekly clubs also allow residents to get to know each other and remain active and engaged in hobbies that they are passionate about. Residents also have access to an onsite hairdresser and visiting mobile library.
