As the
HVAC Service Engineer
you will be providing both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) at various sites across the Midlands. This will include servicing contracts, maintenance of commercial HVAC and AC installations, fault finding and repair across various sites. This will predominantly include prison estates, but could also include defence sites, highways and infrastructure, and the education sector.

We have a very loyal and dedicated workforce of mobile engineers, many of whom have been with the business for many years.

Please note:
The hours of work will be 8am – 4.30pm, 5 days per week, plus a structured overtime package depending on business operational requirements and out of hours on call service rota.

The role of HVAC Engineer will include:

·       PPM and reactive maintenance across the Midlands area.

·       Servicing contracts to both longstanding and new client base.

·       Maintenance of commercial f-gas and HVAC installations including split and VRV systems, chillers, air handling equipment and general ventilation systems.

·       Analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct operation of equipment.

·       Compliance and statutory reports inline with F-Gas regulations and best practice.

·       To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.

What we need from you:

·       Fully conversant with the service and maintenance of commercial Air Conditioning and HVAC systems.

·       Must hold current F-Gas refrigerant handling certification.

·       Formal C&G/NVQ in AC/refrigeration systems desired.

·       Formal electrical qualifications would be advantageous.

·       To be conversant with all aspects of M&E systems.

·       Must have proven fault finding and diagnostic skills.

·       Must be familiar with tablet based CAFM systems.
