Head Dental Nurse

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Senior Nurse who is ready to take on additional responsibilities and has the ambition to progress into a Practice Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse looking to advance their career while making a significant impact on our patient care and team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients while ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.

· Mentor and support junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.

· Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

· Take on leadership responsibilities, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

· Assist in the management of budgets and resources.

· Act as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to enhance communication and care delivery.

· Participate in quality improvement and contribute to policy development.

Qualifications:

· Current GDC registration.

· Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with a focus on patient experience and growth

· Proven leadership skills and experience in a supervisory role is a plus.

· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Desire to take on additional responsibilities and grow into a management role.
