Security Officer

Duties

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises

- Use CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to monitor and report any suspicious activities

- Respond to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns

- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when required

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Security Officer with Sia Licence. Keeping areas tidy and bins emptied

- Knowledge of CCTV systems is not required, surveillance techniques, and access control procedures with be in training

- Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols

- Strong observation skills with attention to detail is a bonus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required

- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
