The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Mobile Apps Developer
 who is confident building, testing and maintaining applications for 
both
iOS and Android.

You'll work closely with other developers, designers and engineers to bring new ideas to life — from concept through to release — all from the 
Guildford office
.

This role is 
office-based
, not remote or hybrid. The company places real value on in-person collaboration and knowledge sharing within their agile, cross-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and deploy high-quality mobile apps for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with engineers and domain specialists to create tools that integrate mapping, location services and device sensors.
  • Contribute to design discussions, testing and CI/CD processes.
  • Continuously improve app performance, UI and user experience.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience developing 
    native mobile apps
     (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, or C++).
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with version control and CI tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins).
  • Bonus: cross-platform development (.NET MAUI, Qt, Xamarin), graphics or mapping toolkits (OpenGL, MapBox, ESRI).
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for in-person teamwork.
