Role Description

The Lely Cluster FMS supports and trains in the most practical way the Lely Center FMS Advisors in the correct start-up and the best use of Lely propositions to achieve customer objectives. They ensure that these services meet the Lely standard, and that they are in line with the Lely value proposition and the Lely Global manual. It is your purpose to ensure effective communication between Lely International – Lely Cluster - Lely Center. Your local knowledge of the dairy business makes it possible to propagate Lely in the area.

Towards Lely Center

• Domain expert within the Business Team to support Lely Centers on their day-to-day service and support in a practical way across the Milking & Digital portfolio.
• Role out and train on up-coming advances through the Digital portfolio to increase usage of our on-farm management system, Horizon.
• Ensure implementation of Lely Way of Working around start up and support processes by the Lely Center to ensure first time right.
• Transfer of knowledge and thus development of expertise at the Lely Centers. Progressing from infield support to coaching.
• Development and improvement of support quality and thus customer satisfaction.

Towards Lely International

• Transfer regional field knowledge back to Lely International and vice versa.
• Provide constructive feedback on Business Team matters (products, training, service).
• Support the introduction of new product introductions (NPI's) and validations in the field.

Main tasks
Training And Support

• Establishes the needs of Lely Center FMS Advisors and the demands that come from the field, including mutual farm visits
• Follow training as part of a train the trainer program, online or on site as dictated by the Lely Academy.
• Trains and coaches Lely Center FMS Advisors on the best use of Lely products and the total proposition, using the Lely Academy training curriculum
• Ensures the Lely Center FMS Advisers are qualified and certified.
• Collaborates with Lely International upon request for the creation of training content.
• Provide support to the Lely Center resolving tickets and answering to questions and field queries.

Coaching And Developing Of Lely Center

• Establish the Lely Way of Working
• Monitors the Lely Center performance
• Coach Lely Centers on using FMS tooling and Way of Working
• Assistance & mediation of possible solutions to customer complaints.

Stakeholder Management

• Build local network of relevant business-, knowledge-, research partners
• Partner with Lely Center FMS advisors to support customer needs.
• Working closely with the Lely International FMS Business team colleagues to communicate and address local needs.
• Support of external consultants (e.g. feeding advisors or veterinarians) for successful management.

Organisational Context
The FMS Specialist is part of the Cluster Service Support team. Clusters represent Lely on sales and service of all chosen propositions in a specific region. Clusters collaborate with both local Lely Centers and Lely International located in Maassluis, The Netherlands. Lely considers service to be an integral part of any proposition.

The FMS Specialist

• Is responsible for making the area successful with first Milking and Digital Farming.
• Hierarchically reports to the FMS Team Lead

Operationally reports to the Manager Proposition of the Business Team
