Job Description
The HR Officer role is an exciting role within the HR team, supporting the delivery of the employee experience at LGSCO. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of HR services across the employee lifecycle, ensuring policies and processes are up to date, and acting as a trusted and approachable point of contact for staff and managers.
Whilst this is a generalist role, we are looking for the successful candidate to take a lead in the areas of learning, induction and wellbeing.

Person specification
You Will
- have significant experience of delivering a full professional HR/Learning service with varying complexity.
- have Chartered membership of CIPD or equivalent level of knowledge/experience.
- be confident advising managers on all aspects of people management
- thrive on advising, problem-solving and supporting people
- strive to improve processes.
- have a keen interest in induction, learning and wellbeing

As well as reimbursing the cost of your eye tests, we will subsidise your eye care where a prescription is for VDU usage and we will cover the cost of an annual flu jab.
Bike loan : We run a Cycle to Work Scheme which allows you to pay for the cost of your bike (up to a limit) as a loan which is deducted from your salary.

Selection process details
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview Monday 26 January 2026 at our Coventry office.
