Salary:
£50,000 - £53,000 (a starting point, we'll agree on the right number based on your experience)

Location:

Hours:
Full-time or Part-time. We're flexible and will make it work for the right person.

About Us:

Healthy HR exists for one simple reason: to help businesses build better workplaces. We're a close-knit team of HR professionals who believe that effective people support should be practical, people-centric and make a tangible difference.

What makes us different? Our approach is genuinely collaborative. We take the time to understand our clients' world, focusing on practical solutions that fit their culture and drive real results. As we grow, we're looking for a warm, organised and proactive HR Consultant to join us. If you're the kind of person who loves diving into varied projects and gets genuine satisfaction from helping a business thrive, you'll fit right in.

The Role:

This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced HR professional who thrives on strategic influence and meaningful relationships. You'll lead a portfolio of clients, partnering with CEOs, founders, and leadership teams to design and deliver people strategies that drive culture, performance, and growth.

This means you could be reviewing a client's HR compliance one day, facilitating a training session the next, and guiding a leadership team through a complex restructure later that week. Your core objective is to provide the practical, people-centred support that helps our clients build robust HR practices and resolve their most pressing people challenges.

You'll take ownership of project delivery from scoping and onboarding through to implementation and review, ensuring an exceptional client experience every step of the way. You'll have the confidence to challenge and guide senior leaders, the organisational skills to manage multiple priorities, and the emotional intelligence to build lasting trust.

As part of our team, you'll also play a key role in shaping how we work as a consultancy, mentoring others, supporting business development, and helping to grow Healthy HR's impact across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Acting as a trusted strategic partner:
You will lead a portfolio of clients across diverse sectors, partnering with CEOs, founders and boards to design and deliver people strategies that align with business goals and drive organisational growth.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders:
You will build strong relationships with senior leaders, using insight and influence to challenge thinking, shape people agendas and embed sustainable, high-impact HR practices.
  • Owning the end-to-end client relationship:
From initial onboarding through to project delivery and review, you will manage the full consultancy lifecycle, scoping requirements, allocating resources, managing time and budgets, and ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience.
  • Designing and implementing people strategies:
You will craft tailored solutions that strengthen culture, engagement and performance, whether through leadership frameworks, organisational design or wellbeing programmes that make a real difference.
  • Handling complex people matters with empathy and commercial awareness:
You will confidently support clients through restructures, sensitive employee relations issues and change programmes, balancing compassion with sound business judgment, and adapting your approach to fit each client's unique culture and ways of working.
  • Leading HR and people projects:
You will oversee and deliver initiatives such as performance management design, TUPE transfers, policy reviews and culture change projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with client objectives.
  • Developing client leaders:
Through coaching and training, you will build leadership capability within client organisations, helping managers grow in confidence, communication and impact.
  • Managing and mentoring others:
You will support and guide team members and associates, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional growth within the consultancy.
  • Being tech-savvy and embracing innovation:
You will recognise the power of technology to enhance how we work, using digital tools, automation and AI to streamline processes, strengthen data insight and make the most of your expertise.
  • Communicating with purpose:
You will understand the importance of effective, human communication, ensuring every interaction with clients, colleagues and partners builds trust, adds value and reflects our commitment to clarity and care.
  • Bringing a growth mindset:
You will approach challenges with curiosity and confidence, stepping outside your comfort zone when needed and viewing change as an opportunity to learn, evolve and make an impact.
  • Being flexible and adaptable:
You will be comfortable adjusting to the changing needs of a growing business and enjoy contributing ideas that help us evolve, improve and achieve our goals together.
  • Driving operational excellence:
You will continually review how we deliver our services, refining processes, reporting and systems to ensure efficiency, quality and scalability as we grow.

About You:

You are an experienced and naturally organised HR professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships and delivering outstanding results. You are confident leading at a senior level, comfortable managing multiple priorities and client portfolios, and bring a calm, solutions focused approach to every challenge.

You combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. Your advice goes beyond compliance as it reflects a deep understanding of people, culture and commercial realities. You can quickly read an organisation, adapt your approach to fit its unique context, and influence decisions that create lasting, positive impact.

You are an excellent communicator who listens as well as you lead. You build trust and credibility with everyone from CEOs and boards to managers and team members, and you know how to turn complex people challenges into clear, actionable solutions. You are commercially astute, confident shaping strategy, and proactive in driving both client and business success.

You are also great at getting things done. You have the ability to motivate others into action, bringing clarity, focus and momentum to projects. You take pride in seeing ideas through to delivery and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard.

You are someone who values growth, both your own and others. You are curious, open to new ideas, and ready to step outside your comfort zone to learn, innovate and improve. You embrace technology, see the potential of automation and AI to enhance what you do, and understand the importance of communication in making every interaction count.

Most of all, you are motivated by making a difference. You bring energy, empathy and professionalism to every project, along with the flexibility and drive needed to thrive in a small but growing consultancy where everyone's contribution matters.
