Truly Treats is a family-run wholesale bakery in Devon, creating high-quality cakes, traybakes, and scones for customers across the UK. We're a small, supportive team who take real pride in what we do, and we're looking for someone who shares that approach.

We're recruiting a Packing Operations & Health and Safety Supervisor to lead our packing team and support our day-to-day safety practices across the bakery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, keeps standards high, and takes an organised approach to the working day.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the packing team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Training and supporting team members to meet quality expectations
  • Keeping the packing area running smoothly, stocked and well-organised
  • Working with Production and Dispatch to maintain efficient workflow
  • Completing daily safety checks and supporting accident investigations
  • Keeping H&S documentation up to date and assisting with staff training
  • Helping maintain safe systems of work, including manual handling and PPE
  • Encouraging a positive safety culture across the bakery
  • Supporting audits and contributing to continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Experience in food production or a similar environment
  • Confident communicator who leads calmly and supportively
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Understanding & experience of Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Comfortable completing paperwork and using Microsoft Office
  • Proactive approach with a focus on teamwork, quality, and safety
