We are seeking a passionate and energetic Drum Tutor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the rhythm and joy of drumming. In this dynamic role, you will design engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their musical talents through personalized instruction. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive curriculum tailored to diverse skill levels, from beginner to advanced drummers
  • Deliver engaging drum lessons that incorporate fundamental techniques, rhythm exercises, and creative improvisation
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and motivating environment for all students
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles, including those with special educational needs or early childhood education requirements
  • Plan and organize performances or showcases to showcase student progress and build confidence
  • Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in teaching drums or percussion instruments across various age groups and skill levels
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development & lesson planning
  • Experience working with children, preschoolers, or students with special education needs is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all backgrounds
  • Degree or Grade 8 minimum requiremen
  • Car driver essential

Pay: £24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
