We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations within our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in construction painting, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to drive team performance while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
- Oversee construction painting projects from start to finish, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Schedule work assignments and manage resources effectively to optimise productivity.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or painting industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive a vehicle as required for site visits or transport of materials.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
