At Charter House resource centre CIC we provide day care, home care and respite care for adults with learning disabilities, the elderly and those living with dementia, we believe that the service user is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive on improving the lives of our service users, whilst promoting independence, and treating everyone as an individual with dignity and respect at all times.

Due to personal care preferences we can only hire female candidates for this role.

Main duties include: Supporting vulnerable people in their own homes, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, light domestic duties and supporting service users to access the community. we also provide respite care this includes overnight stays at the service users home, and holiday destinations in the UK providing daily care needs and supporting the service user to access the community to enjoy activities, The ideal person will be motivated with good people skills, the ability to work alone, or as part of a team, and be caring and compassionate with a willingness to learn.

NVQ level 2 in health and social care is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role. Charter House will support and encourage employees to further their personal development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.63-£19.05 per hour
