Job Title: Reach Truck Driver

Location: Paragon Quality Foods, Quadrant 3 Yorkshire Way, Armthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 3FB

Wage: £13 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am start.

Occasional Saturdays may be required for stock check purposes

About Us: Paragon is a leading manufacturer of premium-quality beef burgers, supplying national Foodservice Operators, Wholesalers, and Restaurant and Pub Groups throughout the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team to ensure efficient day-to-day loading and unloading of lorries
  • Moving pallets of raw materials & finished products to & between warehouse & freezer racking
  • Utilising different equipment types, such as (mainly) Reach truck, counterbalance, and Ride-on powered pallet trucks
  • Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy manufacturing & warehouse environments
  • Maintaining correct stock rotation of all raw materials and finished products
  • Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
  • Adhering to Forklift Truck operation safety standards
  • Use of digital stock system
  • Completing stock checks
  • Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
  • Ensuring production and packing is serviced with all required materials in a timely manner
  • Being responsible for general housekeeping within the goods-in, goods-out and yard areas

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in a team with other staff & individually
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Reach truck license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
