Our Kitchen Porters are important to us We rely on them to ensure our kitchen environment is consistently maintained to outstanding levels of cleanliness and hygiene enabling our ambitious and dedicated team of chefs to get on with what they do best – producing amazing food for our guests

As a Kitchen Porter your duties will include:

  • Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
  • Collecting and washing up pots and pans
  • Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery
  • Unloading food and equipment deliveries
  • Keeping the storeroom organised
  • Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects is essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and in hot environments
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Can-do attitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Food hygiene certification is desirable but not essential as training will be given
