PE Global is recruiting an IT analyst for our multinational manufacturing client based in Springvale, Belfast. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the role is full onsite. The rate for this role is £21.22 PAYE or £28.80 Umbrella.

Monday to Friday – start time will be 7am. 37.5 hours a week. 4.5 or 5 days a week onsite, condensed working available. Minimum of 4 hours on a Friday. All other hours must be worked Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of IT services, including system and infrastructure support
  • Conduct updates, upgrades and other maintenance tasks in both hardware and software areas.
  • Provides effective technical solutions to routine functional challenges.
  • Address high priority issues/escalations from internal business partners
  • Assists in integrating IT hardware with the organization's existing systems
  • Supports the project leader in developing and executing system test plans.
  • Engagement with business partners to identify new business demands and any potential project work.
  • Work with supplier relationship teams on vendor reporting and tools processes to understand metrics and trends.
  • Responsible to ensure services achieve and maintain compliant to IT Security, SOX and IT Internal Controls.

Requirements:

  • An IT related degree or IT experience.
  • 3 years plus for experience.
  • Server and infrastructure, networking knowledge would be beneficial
  • Hands on experience, worked in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
  • Experience managing or working with global teams.
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
