Role Description
This is a contract-based technical role with the flexibility of remote work. As a Data & Code Cleaner, you will be the first line of defense in our quality assurance process, ensuring our digital assets are optimized for the AI era. You will assist in refactoring legacy codebases, scrubbing datasets for machine learning training, and standardizing documentation.

Your tasks will involve collaborating with our AI and Engineering teams to identify data inconsistencies, remove redundancy, and ensure that all technical outputs meet our high standards for "clean code." You will turn raw information into high-value assets that drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency:
    Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) and data manipulation tools (SQL, Excel/Google Sheets) to efficiently process and clean large datasets.
  • Attention to Detail:
    An eagle eye for syntax errors, data duplication, and formatting inconsistencies to ensure 100% accuracy in our deliverables.
  • Understanding of Code Quality:
    Knowledge of "clean code" principles, linting tools, and version control (Git) to support the development of scalable software.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Ability to audit datasets and code repositories to identify trends, anomalies, or areas ripe for optimization.
  • Remote Work Ethics:
    Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Mindset:
    A can-do attitude, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning new tech stacks are essential.
