As we expand operations and push the boundaries of innovation, we're seeking an exceptional Engineering Director to lead the technical vision and drive excellence across all engineering disciplines.


About the Role:

As Engineering Director, you'll be the strategic force behind the engineering function guiding multidisciplinary teams, shaping technical roadmaps, and ensuring delivery of complex maritime projects from concept to commissioning. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership, clients, and partners to ensure solutions remain world class, compliant, and future ready.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, systems, and architecture disciplines
  • Oversee design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge maritime technologies and vessels
  • Drive innovation in sustainability, automation, and digital integration within marine systems
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime standards and classification societies
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and project teams to align engineering with business goals
  • Represent the company in technical forums, client engagements, and industry partnerships

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in engineering within the maritime, defence, or offshore sectors
  • Degree in Engineering (Software, Hardware, Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture or related)
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred
  • Experience managing multi-million-pound projects and cross-functional teams
  • Visionary mindset with a passion for sustainability and innovation
