About Live Nation
The Live Nation Digital Tech Team (LNDT) drives the fan experience across 36 international Live Nation sites, covering 59 countries and 33 languages. We are truly responsible for the online face of the business and are the team who help fans discover and buy the tickets they just cannot miss out on. As well as our core business with the Live Nation sites, we support and manage over 200 festival and venue sites. These work independently but within our framework and we are required to meet their needs whilst allowing them autonomy.
THE JOB
This role involves working in an agile software engineering team, covering the complete lifecycle of development activities from planning to delivery. Ensuring efficiency, reliability and quality of all components and features developed as well as quick response to requirements changes, which contribute to Live Nation winning in their marketplace.
Because our business is online 24/7, you may on occasion be required to work out of hours or provide on-call duty on a rota basis.
What You Will Be Doing
- Write reliable, maintainable code that meets our development standards.
- Apply TDD to guide your code design.
- Design, develop, and maintain relational database schemas.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Use appropriate design patterns and defensive coding techniques.
- Deploy applications to AWS cloud environments.
- Develop websites and APIs for the Live Nation platform.
- Collaborate with product teams to shape quality user stories.
- Implement automated tests for continuous delivery (ATDD).
- Participate in code reviews and merge requests.
- Follow clean coding principles (OOP, KISS, DRY, YAGNI).
- Provide occasional out-of-hours or on-call support on a rota basis.
YOU
- Proven experience in C#, .NET Core, and SQL development
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar data warehouse technologies
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles
- Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment
- Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting and adapts to change
- Creative problem solver who enjoys tackling technical challenge
