Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and Skilled Spa therapist to join our luxury Spa in Great Barr. We are looking for a skilled Japanese and Thai massage therapists to join our team. The Spa Therapist will be responsible for providing customised treatments, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and fostering a relaxing atmosphere for clients. Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests to the Spa ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed.
  • Perform a variety of spa treatments including Japanese and Thai massage treatments.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalised treatment plans.
  • Ensure treatments are clean, well-stocked and well prepared for guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the spa area in accordance with health regulations.
  • Support management with administrative tasks as required, including stock control and treatment records.
  • Promote and sell Spa products and services to guests
  • Provide expert advice on skincare, beauty routines, and wellness practices to optimise client results.
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Ability to upsell treatments and retail products tactfully to maximise centre revenue.
  • NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy
  • Minimum 1-3 year experience working in a spa or wellness environment
  • Level 3 massage qualification
  • Additional certifications in Thai Massage, Aromatherapy and reflexology
  • Japanese Head Spa certification
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service experience, capable of handling client needs and feedback professionally
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
