Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £8,320 per annum (based on £80 per day, 2 days per week)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated part-time Geography Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students and promote excellent progress in Geography across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons tailored to the needs of all learners
- Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (including GCSE Geography)
- Set high expectations for student behaviour, effort, and achievement
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements
- Participate in assessment, reporting, and parents' evenings where applicable
- Collaborate with colleagues to raise achievement and share best practice
- Support or lead extracurricular Geography and humanities-based activities
- Maintain accurate records in line with school policies
- Engage in CPD and performance management activities
Person Specification
Essential:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- A degree in Geography or a related discipline
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
- High expectations for students of all abilities and backgrounds
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Willingness to support the school's values and Islamic ethos
Desirable:
- Experience in a faith-based or independent school
- Understanding of Islamic values and respect for the school ethos
- Proven experience in raising attainment at GCSE level
