The Flour Pot Bakery is a retail and wholesale artisan bakery with twelve stores in Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

We are seeking an experienced barista to help run our Flour Pot Container in Hove. The right candidate will have similar experience in a high quality cafe environment, have a good understanding and passion for the high end coffee world, with practical know-how around an espresso machine a must. Creating a fantastic customer experience and workplace environment for your team is crucial to this role, as well as personality, drive and a level head. You will also have the responsibility of opening and closing the site. Which will include supervisory open and closing duties, cashing up, ordering, handling customer queries and holding keys for the building.

You're confident as second in command and work closely with your manager, inspiring the team to go the extra mile for our customers. you keep expectations + standards high. You recognise succession is vital for a strong talent pipeline and you're proactive in developing others. in the absence of your general manager you lead the shops as if it were your own.

West Hove is open from 7:30am - 2:30pm, with shifts either being an open 6:30am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm.
