Maintenance Supervisor

*I. Purpose of the Job*

• Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of routine maintenance work
• Ensures that all maintenance work is executed efficiently and on-time through supporting technicians by running performance dialogues, being at least 40-60% of time on shop floor, where needed back-up, define training needs, etc.

*II. Roles and Responsibilities*
Accountabilities and activities

1 Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of routine maintenance work

2 Providing daily coaching and supervision for the maintenance technicians

3 Acts as the primary liaison between Production and Maintenance, with ownership of the qualification, prioritization, scheduling, coordination of maintenance activities and quality of executed jobs

4 Ensure that all jobs are properly and on time completed

5 Cooperate with maintenance planners and production on scheduling, priority planning

6 Ensure that work permits are available and safety procedures are followed

7 Ensures work requests for maintenance are properly reviewed, justified, prioritized, and approved

8 Participating in the development of quality job plans by working with planners

• Participating in development of weekly and daily work schedules
• Communicating and making necessary adjustments to complete or reschedule jobs that go beyond original scope of work and/or time estimates
• Interacting with work permitting process as needed and insuring that all applicable safety procedures are followed

• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
• Strong technical equipment maintenance knowledge
• Strong leadership skills and be organized.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills , persuasive, sets high expectation, motivates people, delegates & follows up
• Excellent communication skills
• Supportive mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good organizational skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Strong team player
