As a Care and Support Assistant, you will be part of a community-based team offering the highest levels of care and support to our clients, including:

  • Administering medication

  • Food and beverage preparation

  • Assisting with personal care

  • A fixed 2 weekly rota built around you. You will have a week 1, week 2 rota built around you availability, with morning shifts from 07:00-14:00 and afternoons from 16:00-22:00 you will always know what days and times you are working. Due to the nature of the role, weekend working is required, but you will only be working 1 in every 2 weekends.

  • Fully paid visit times, not minute by minute. In the event of you finishing a visit a couple of minutes early, you will not be penalised, and will still be paid for the full visit time.

  • Paid travel time between appointments. Your time is as important to us as it is to you, so you will be paid as you travel between clients.

  • 45p per mile mileage. The highest you can be paid for mileage without paying tax on it. We also will pay your mileage home from your last call. This averages at around an extra £1,900 per year for someone working 30 hours a week.

  • A new joining bonus of £1,000 to welcome you to the team.

  • Proud to care bonus, paid every 6 months and worth up to £1,400 per year extra, as a thank you for being so amazing.

  • Scheduled to work on a bank holiday? We pay double time on bank holidays, earn £25.20 per hour when working these days.

  • Receive up to 33 days paid holiday per year depending on your length of service.
