CSCS Labourer – HGV Trackway Installation Team

Location: Based out of Worksop, operating across the UK

Pay: Competitive hourly rate (NMW or above, depending on experience)

Allowances: £30 per night-out allowance (unless hotel accommodation provided)

Hours: Monday–Friday (working away), with regular weekend overtime available

About the Role

We are looking to recruit motivated and reliable Labourers to join our HGV Trackway Installation Team, working alongside our experienced HGV drivers.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects across the UK — including some of the most prestigious festivals, gigs, and major national and international infrastructure installations.

You'll be part of a team responsible for installing and removing temporary roadway systems (trackway) on a range of sites and terrains, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team assisting with the installation and removal of aluminium trackway systems.
  • Support HGV drivers with the loading, unloading, and securing of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on-site at all times.
  • Operate hand tools and equipment safely under supervision.
  • Ensure the site and equipment are kept clean, tidy, and well-organised.
  • Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card – essential.
  • Full UK driving licence – essential.
  • Willingness to work away from home Monday–Friday (accommodation or night-out allowance provided).
  • Good level of physical fitness and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately.
  • Previous experience in a labouring or construction-related role is advantageous but not required — full training will be provided.
