SEND Teaching Assistant – Burgess Hill Area

Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Hours: 08:30 AM – 03:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £89 per day PAYE, temp to perm

Join a Horsham primary as a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting children to access the curriculum and build confidence. We're looking for someone dependable and caring.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support classroom learning and small group interventions for pupils with SEND.


• Help adapt resources and support differentiated approaches.


• Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to monitor progress.


• Support pupils' social and emotional development.

Skills & Experience / What We're Looking For:


• Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills.


• Transferable skills: teamwork, observation, adaptability, record-keeping.


• Experience with SEND advantageous.

• Training and mentoring provided.
