We are currently searching for a new editorial assistant to work alongside our editorial team. Duties will include writing accurate and engaging features for a range of monthly publications, including Premier Construction, Premier Hospitality and Rail Construction News.

Successful applicants will be required to conduct interviews with a range of editorial sources, from chefs and restaurateurs to architects and main contractors, and transform this information into informative copy. As the majority of the interviews take place via the telephone, successful applicants will have a confident and professional telephone manner.

Good organisational skills are essential in this role, as the editorial assistant will be assigned individual tasks which they are responsible for completing within set deadlines. Above all else, applicants must be able to demonstrate they have previous writing experience in print or online.

Would suit a recent graduate looking for experience.

Working hours are Monday – Friday.

All applicants must have:

-Completed a relevant journalism degree/writing qualification

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word

-Experience conducting telephone and/or face-to-face interviews

-A fantastic grasp of the English language, including punctuation and spelling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £23,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 32.5 per week
