About us

CDS Logistics Ltd is a growing vehicle logistics company in Darlington. We move vehicles nationwide for dealers and fleets. We're adding a flexible driver for 2–3 days per week, with the option to move onto PAYE for the right person.

What you'll do

  • Deliver vehicles nationwide using our 5.2t Iveco Daily truck + trailer (provided)
  • Complete app-based vehicle inspections and basic handovers
  • Keep vehicles/paperwork tidy and professional
  • Mix of short and longer days depending on routes

You'll need

  • Licence: C1+E or pre-1997 C1/C1E(107) "grandfather rights"
  • Driver CPC and digital tacho card (hire/reward)
  • Age 25+ (insurance), max 3 points
  • Confident towing (training available)
  • Smartphone; reliable and customer-focused

Hours & pay

  • 2–3 days/week, flexible rota (extra shifts possible in peaks)
  • Start self-employed on a per-mile/job basis
  • PAYE available for the right driver: £12.50/hour take-home, weekly payroll, holiday pay & pension auto-enrolment (statutory)
