As a Senior Accounts Assistant (Touring), you will support touring artists and their management teams with bookkeeping, VAT preparation, and hands-on business management across multiple international tours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain client books and records using Sage Line 50 and Xero
  • Post and reconcile bank, tour float, and credit card transactions
  • Raise sales invoices, assist with debtor collection, and reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
  • Liaise with artist management, booking agents, tour managers, and insurers on touring operations
  • Monitor daily banking and cashflow, setting up approved payments
  • Coordinate invoice approvals, contracts, and payments with suppliers and promoters
  • Review VAT returns, assist with client onboarding, cashflows, insurance, and bank account setup

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice is a must
  • Direct experience with touring accounts or touring artists is essential
  • ACCA, CIMA, or AAT part-qualified
    (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Sage and Xero
  • Ability to manage timesheets, deadlines, and multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine interest in the music and entertainment industry
