Who We Are

We're here to build a network the UK can count on – one that connects people, places and potential. Because no matter where you live, what your background is, or how you get online – we think everyone deserves the same chance to stay connected, and with VodafoneThree, that future's being built – today.

We're creating more than the UK's best network. We're helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.

We believe that everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, there's space for you here. We're building a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard, and everyone feels safe to show up as themselves.

You'll join a team that genuinely cares – about each other, about our customers, and about the future we're building. From day one, you'll be welcomed, valued and encouraged to bring your whole self to work.

We move at pace, because what we're building matters – and we're learning as we go. We're proud of the progress we've made, but we're just getting started.

Join Vodafone Business Security Enhanced and strengthen the cyber security of the UK's Critical National Infrastructure and public sector organisations.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our Secure Operations team, driving strategy and innovation across everything from private cloud solutions to highly secure air-gapped networks. You'll make a real impact by ensuring our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and future-ready. You'll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our IT infrastructure and security roadmap.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Partner with ICT Architects to turn infrastructure designs into reality and guide projects through their lifecycle.
  • Create clear, insightful documentation and reports that support our IT Infrastructure & Security function.
  • Be the go-to technical expert for IT Systems Administrators and Analysts when challenges arise.
  • Define and optimize our technology stack to strengthen security, disaster recovery, and BAU support across production and pre-production environments.
  • Collaborate with teams like PMO, NOC, SOC, and network delivery to ensure seamless integration between operational and business support systems.
  • Shape and manage the department's IT Disaster Recovery strategy alongside the IT Systems Lead.
  • Present complex technical concepts in a way that everyone—from techies to non-techies—can understand.

Who you are

  • Experience designing and deploying secure on-prem technology solutions.
  • Strong background in managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Proven ability in infrastructure sizing and capacity planning.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation.
  • Solid knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware) and SAN environments (EMC).
  • Deep understanding of core IT and security principles.
  • A degree in Computer Science or IT—or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to stay ahead of emerging technologies.
  • Eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance.
