Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers warmly and assisting with their enquiries in a professional manner
  • Organising merchandise displays and ensuring products are well-presented and stocked
  • Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments efficiently
  • Upselling products to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Providing information about products, promotions, and store policies to customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and stockroom
  • Managing stock levels, including receiving deliveries and organising stock replenishment
  • Utilising organisational skills to ensure the shop remains tidy and inviting at all times
  • Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and sales targets
  • Demonstrating phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries

Skills

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly fluency in English, are highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with an approachable manner and phone repairing
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation
  • Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to perform upselling tactfully to enhance customer experience and sales results
  • Good phone etiquette when dealing with customer queries over the phone or via email
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base
  • Merchandising knowledge to create attractive displays that encourage purchases
