Job Summary

The Patient Services Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their healthcare journey. This position is responsible for overseeing the patient services department, managing staff, and implementing policies that enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Duties

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient experience and streamline operations.
  • Monitor patient feedback and address concerns promptly to improve service quality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the healthcare sector.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices in patient interaction and service excellence.
  • Analyse departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication among staff members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of patient care processes and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficient in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about improving patient services while leading a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
