Music Producer – London

Join a dynamic music project in the heart of London as a recording engineer, supporting the creative process from initial song development to final production. This role is ideal for a digital recording engineer or aspiring producer with a passion for pop music and hands-on experience in a studio environment. You will collaborate closely with a writer, manage digital audio workstations, and ensure seamless operation of all recording software. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to both new and ongoing tracks, with the potential for involvement in a project rollout campaign. Onsite presence in London W1 is required for the duration of the project, making this an excellent opportunity for those eager to immerse themselves in a professional music setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and arranging musical ideas alongside the project writer
- Operate and manage DAW sessions, ensuring all software and plugins function optimally
- Support the recording, editing, and mixing of pop tracks at various stages of completion
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital recording equipment and software
- Collaborate on creative decisions to enhance song structure and production quality
- Maintain organized session files and backups throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of project milestones
- Be available onsite in London W1 for all scheduled sessions and project requirements
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience as a recording engineer or digital music producer, preferably in pop music
- Proficiency with major DAWs (Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, or similar)
- Strong understanding of audio recording, editing, and mixing techniques
- Familiarity with studio hardware, microphones, and signal flow
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to evolving project needs
- Must be available for onsite work in London W1 for the full project duration
