MSX International is looking for a Product Performance Engineer to support our Volvo team by delivering product quality reporting and analysis in the EMEA region.

The Role
The Product Performance Engineer will collaborate with a team of quality follow-up engineers across Europe. You'll review dealer reports about vehicle defects, identify trends, and communicate findings to our Central organization in Sweden.

The regional product performance team reports directly to the Central organization in Sweden.

In Addition, The Product Performance Engineer Will

  • Record and maintain data in internal systems
  • Monitor market trends for known and emerging defects
  • Communicate with the local organisation on known issues and improvements
  • Identify and report recurring defects and trends
  • Provide customer-focused local knowledge and expertise
  • Handle and respond to telephone calls and emails

Qualifications
About you
Skills
Ideally, you have strong vehicle technical experience, preferably at Senior or Master Technician level within a franchised dealership. Alternatively, we would consider someone who can demonstrate great presentation and communication skills or strong IT skills to support data analysis. The Product Performance Engineer will join us with good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair processes and will:

  • Have strong automotive technical knowledge (Senior or Master Technician level preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Be able to work effectively in a distributed, collaborative team
  • Operate independently with strong self-motivation
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently
  • Be comfortable with using translation tools to collaborate with non-English speakers
  • Build effective relationships in a remote, multicultural environment
  • Have strong communication skills to be able to communicate with non-native English speakers
  • Hold a City and Guilds or NVQ L3 (or equivalent)
  • Be highly PC literate and comfortable with data analysis
  • Have experience of the Volvo brand (advantageous)
  • Possess additional language skills (advantageous)
