Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, teas, as well as wine and beers into the evening.
  • Take customer orders, ensuring they are prepared and served accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, with regular cleaning and sanitising of equipment and workstations.
  • Stock and replenish beverage and retail items, keeping the bar area well-stocked at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
  • Operate and maintain all bar equipment, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Participate in training and professional development to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Min 1 year barista experience
  • A mature, happy, and eager-to-help team player.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a café or bar environment is ideal, with a strong understanding of beverage preparation and service
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage and interact with a diverse range of customers.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for food and beverage handling.

Hours

We are looking for staff for our busy weekends witn a minimum of 7hours with opportunity to grow.
