MSK are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable
Health & Safety Advisor
 to join our team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and supporting the development of a positive safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  3. Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on all health and safety matters.
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  5. Deliver health and safety training and inductions to employees.
  6. Monitor and review H&S performance, producing reports for senior management.
  7. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
  2. Valid CSCS card (essential).
  3. Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.
  4. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation in particular obligations under CDM2015
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and H&S management systems.

Desirable:

  1. Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.
  2. Experience in a specific sector (e.g. construction).
  3. First Aid or Fire Safety qualifications.
  4. Comfortable public speaker
