Description Overview

We are currently recrutign for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner with strong experience in SAP.

This role is critical in ensuring efficient production scheduling, inventory control, and timely delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GMP regulations, production workflows, and SAP modules related to planning and materials management

Scope of the Role
  • Develop and maintain production schedules using SAP PP (Production Planning)

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and supply chain to align production plans with business goals.

  • Monitor actual production output vs. planned schedules and adjust plans to mitigate delays or bottlenecks.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and GMP standards throughout the planning process.

  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Generate and release process and production orders and ensure timely kit picking and material availability.

  • Run Crystal and Query reports to create Production plans and other reports as required.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and scheduling processes.

  • Analyze production data and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.

  • Any other reasonable request from the Planning Manager or the Business

Experience Required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production planning within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP (especially PP, MM, IBP modules).

  • Strong understanding of MRP processes, inventory management, and production workflows.

  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and EMA compliance standards.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across departments.
