The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise.
  • Foster a love of art in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of art forms, techniques, and media.
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive art studio where students feel safe to experiment, express themselves, and develop their artistic skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Art curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their artistic development.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Art and Design.
  • A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Art.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • A passion for Art and a commitment to fostering creativity in young people.
