About The Role

We are delighted that you are interested in the role of English Teacher at Ark Putney Academy. The start date for this role is January 2026.

As an English Teacher at Ark Putney Academy you will plan and deliver challenging and engaging lessons that instill a passion for learning. You will support the teaching in our English department to ensure the academy achieves its targets through appropriate schemes of work, effective assessment tracking and intervention. You will also be required to teach A-level English.

About Us

Ark Putney Academy opened in September 2012 as part of the Ark network in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We're a mixed school with 760 students, ranging from year 7 through to sixth form.

We adopt a holistic view to educating young people. Through our commitment to inclusion, equality and attainment, we prepare every student to be a pillar of any community.
