Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting café environment. Your role will be essential in fostering a welcoming atmosphere while delivering quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, equipment, and dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
  • Uphold high standards of quality in all food preparation and service tasks.

Skills

  • Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within the food industry.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
