We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Estimator to join our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy sales office environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships while keeping teamworking in a collaborative environment , and has a keen eye for technical and administrative detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accurate technical quotations, amend orders, and manage customer jobs through internal systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and enquiries, providing advice and excellent customer service (no cold calls).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key and dormant accounts, proactively chasing quotes to secure orders.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding lead times, pricing changes, deliveries and order updates.
  • Read, clean and amend technical drawings in line with internal processes.
  • Manage recut, credit and query requests, gathering relevant data for internal review, following the process given.
  • Maintain accurate records across customer systems, MRP and auditing documentation.
  • Support delivery and courier queries, raising claims and escalating major issues where required.
  • Monitor personal and shared inboxes, prioritising workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work towards individual and team performance targets, including conversion rates and quote activity.
