Senior Product Manager (Contract – 4 to 6 Months)

Duration: 4–6 Months

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our International Product Team and lead the delivery of a major strategic initiative — the rollout of our Making Tax Digital (MTD) proposition. This project responds to new UK legislation coming in April 2026, changing how sole traders and landlords file their taxes.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a flagship product that will redefine digital tax filing in the UK. You'll take the lead on developing, testing, and refining the MTD experience — working from concept through pilot to launch, and ensuring our customers have a seamless, intuitive solution to meet their tax obligations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Making Tax Digital product proposition.
  • Turn complex compliance requirements into innovative, scalable, customer-led software solutions.
  • Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Run the pilot programme with early adopters, gathering insights and refining the product.
  • Drive progress reporting, KPIs, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
  • Balance short-term execution with long-term product vision and growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience delivering zero-to-one product launches.
  • Deep understanding of customer research and insight-driven development.
  • Background in accounting, compliance, or financial software (strongly preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritise effectively, and lead teams through ambiguity.
  • Experience in mobile app or transformative digital product development.
