Bridlington YO BS, United Kingdom Kids Charity Full time £24,000 - £28,000 per year

Sessional Wellbeing Support Worker

Employer: Kids

Location: Bridlington

Contract: Sessional – Flexible working hours

Salary: £12.21 – £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

About the Role

Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits around your life? Whether you're a graduate, college student, returning to work after retirement, or simply seeking flexible hours to suit your schedule, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Kids is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Sessional Workers to join our Wellbeing Team in Bridlington. In this role, you'll support disabled children and young people to attend our weekly wellbeing sessions and take part in exciting trips — helping them to learn, grow, and thrive in a fun and supportive environment.

This is a truly meaningful position where every day you'll make a positive impact on the lives of young people. You'll be joining a friendly, passionate team that's dedicated to inclusion, wellbeing, and empowerment.

Our sessions primarily run on Mondays during term time, with additional activities and trips offered throughout the school holidays. Hours are flexible to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people to participate fully in wellbeing sessions and planned trips.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages growth and confidence.
  • Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
  • Provide personal care and assistance where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  • Prepare snacks and light meals to support the smooth running of sessions.
  • Participate in training and induction, working alongside experienced and supportive colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture where everyone's ideas and efforts are valued.

About You

We're looking for people who bring compassion, energy, and commitment to every session. You don't need previous experience — just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

You'll have:

  • A caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Creativity, resilience, and a proactive mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of each child.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, ethical, and reliable approach to work.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.

Why Join Kids?

  • Flexible work to fit around your studies, family, or other commitments.
  • Valuable experience supporting young people with disabilities — ideal for those pursuing a career in education, health, or social care.
  • Supportive team culture with ongoing training and professional development.
  • The chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

If you're looking for a rewarding, flexible role where you can contribute to something truly meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
