CNC Miller Programmer

CNC Milling Programmer (Heidenhain and/or Fanuc)

Location: Near Hereford

Pay: Up to £19.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

We're looking for an experienced CNC Milling Programmer to join our precision engineering team near Hereford. This hands-on role involves programming and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls, with an emphasis on precision, quality, and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls
• Interpret complex engineering drawings accurately
• Modify and optimise programs to ensure consistent high-quality output
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
• Support continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machining
• Proficient in 3-axis milling, working to strict tolerances
• Comfortable working with a variety of materials
• Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
• Effective team player with clear communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK
