Position Summary
Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a qualified Plant Mechanic to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with Plant experience looking for their next career change to a market-leading Recycling firm ahead of a major expansion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our growing fleet of vehicles at our Inchinnan depot.
Duties
- Maintenance and repair of WRC's Plant to ensure it is compliant with current health and safety regulations.
- Regularly completing fault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing
- Ensure all repairs and servicing are carried out to standard
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of plant and machinery
- Regular fault diagnosis and rectification
Requirements of the role
- The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license.
- Experience working with plant and machinery is essential
- Experience working with HGV vehicles and associated systems such as hydraulics, electrics and brakes would be beneficial
- Competent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work alongside a team of qualified mechanics
- Candidates must be self-motivated with strict attention to detail.
