Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our new team. As part of our founding staff, you will play a key role in helping shape our nursery ethos, routines, and learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and enabling learning environment for all children.
  • Act as a key person, building strong, supportive relationships with children and families.
  • Plan, observe, and track children's learning and development.
  • Support children's individual needs, ensuring inclusive practice at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children's welfare at all times.
  • Contribute to room planning, creative activities, and daily routines.
  • Ensure health & safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential).
  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety.
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Passionate, caring, and committed to providing outstanding childcare.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and contribute ideas as we build our new setting.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
