Playground Games is looking for a Senior Events Administrator to join our Operations team on a contract basis.ABOUT US:

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Working closely with the wider Operations team, the Senior Events Administrator will play a key role in assisting with the planning and delivery of a range of PG events. You will be providing administrative support for events including wrap parties, socials and charity events, and interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has a passion for events, is resourceful and flexible, and excited to be a champion for Playground Games and everything we produce.

This is a contract role, based full-time on-site across our three state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa.

What you'll do:
  • Support the coordination and hosting of onsite and offsite company events, ensuring all events are delivered in line with the company events calendar
  • Research costs and options
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary resources and services
  • Raise purchase orders for events, following process and procedure as set out by the Finance team
  • Assist with logistics and on the day coordination
  • Write event risk assessments and collate event H&S documentation
  • Assist with event communications and guest list management
  • Contribute events content towards the PG Studio Newsletter each week
  • Provide Reception cover as needed throughout the day including lunch cover and holiday cover (including purchasing/stock replenishment etc as necessary)
  • Perform other duties as requested from time to time, commensurate with the role
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 2 years minimum of experience in event coordination/administration
  • A passion for events and hospitality
  • Flexibility to be involved in the co-ordination of several events at a time
  • Ability to think on feet
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers effectively
  • High level of organisational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude and ability to work in a confidential manner
  • Ability to work on-time, to agreed schedules and standard
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office inc Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Be a champion for Playground Games and everything we produce
